Lillian Peevy age 84 of Buford died Thursday, July 20, 2006. A Funeral Service will be held Sunday, July 23 at 2 P.M. at Rock Springs United Methodist Church. Mrs. Peevy will lie in state from 1:30 - 2:00 P.M. Burial will follow at Hopewell Christian Church Cemetery. Mrs. Peevy is survived by Son-Edwin Peevy, of Winder, GA; Sons and Daughters-in-Law-Michael and Susan Peevy, of Newnan, GA, and Randy and Hope Peevy, of Tallahassee, FL; 5 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren and a host of Nieces and Nephews. She has lived in Buford all of her life, a member of Rock Springs United Methodist Church, and worked at Buford Memorial Hospital and Joan Glancy Hospital as a nurses aide until she retired. The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 22 from 2 to 4 and from 6 to 9 P.M. at Tapp/Tim Stewart Funeral Home and Crematory, 201 Morningside Drive, Buford, Georgia 30518. 770-945-9345.
