Golf fundraiser benefits disabled

The 2006 Creative Enterprises, Inc. Golf Classic/"The Kevin Kenerly Challenge" will be held Aug. 8 at the Legends Golf Course at Chateau Élan in Braselton. All profits will go toward benefiting adults with disabilities at Creative Enterprises Inc.

All players will experience this "tribute to the traditional golf course architecture of the early 1900s" on this private course designed by Gene Sarazen, Sam Snead and Kathy Whitworth. The entry fee is $125 per person. Couples and teams are welcome. Special thanks to our title sponsor for his continuous support of our organization, and to all of our contributors and sponsors that help to make our event a success.

Tournament events will include a silent auction, putting contest, closest to the pin, men and women's long drive contests, a long shot expert, various hole in one prizes, poker run - 50/50 split and many raffle prizes. Cash prizes for will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams. Each player will receive a goody bag provided by Excelso Coffee & Tea and Publix Super Markets, a delicious lunch provided by "The Legends Golf Course" and much more.

As a participant, you will not only be experiencing great golf on a spectacular, private course but you will also be helping to make a positive impact in the life of adults with a disabilities. Please get involved and support our growing organization serving Gwinnett County. Sponsorship information is available and a tee sign can be purchased for $150. This is great way to advertise and support adults with disabilities at the same time. Deadline for tee signs is Aug. 3.
