LAWRENCEVILLE - Gwinnett County commissioners are expected to roll back the millage rate Tuesday.
The move is typical for the commission, which has voted for more than a decade to lower the tax rate based on the rise in property values. This year, officials recommended to commissioners that the millage rate be rolled back to a rate of 11.30, compared to the 2005 rate of 11.47. A homeowner with a $200,000 house would save $12 if the rate is adopted.More like this story
