Mr. Buford Edward Whitman, age 86 of Lawrenceville, GA died January 26, 2006. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dera Hemmings Whitman and son, Steven E. Whitman and is survived by his daughters, Sandra Whitman of Fayetteville, Debbie Whitman Lewis of Central GA; daughter-in-law, Gayle Moore Whitman of Eatonton, GA; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mr. Whitman was retired from Brown Transport Inc. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 28 at 11am at Wages Snellville Chapel with Morris Moore and Edwin Snell officiating.
