Mr. Briscoe was retired from General Motors, Doraville, GA UAW Local 10. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He lived on Scenic Highway in Snellville for 41 years where he enjoyed farming, especially growing tomatoes, collards and goats. Until his death he enjoyed raising Boer goats and riding his John Deere tractor to the barn daily. He was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church. He was a WWII Army Veteran of the battles of Okinawa, Guam & Angar. He was proud to be an American and believed that we should support our country by buying American. Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 26 at 11 A.M. at Wages Lawrenceville Chapel with Rev. David Harrill, & Rev. Jeff Gongwer officiating. Interment to follow at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5:00 to 9:00 P.M. and Wednesday from 9:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
