DULUTH - The Atlanta Thrashers officially recalled their goalie, Mike Dunham, from their ECHL affiliate in Gwinnett on Tuesday.

Dunham missed 28 games for the Thrashers while recovering from a groin injury. The 33-year-old was on a brief conditioning assignment and won both games he started for the Gladiators.

In a separate transaction, goaltender Tuomas Tarkki has been assigned to the Gladiators from the Chicago Wolves of the American Hockey League.

Tarkki began his professional career with Gwinnett, posting a team-best 2.41 goals against average and a .921 save percentage in two starts.

A rookie out of Northern Michigan University, Tarkki was called up to Chicago on Nov. 9. He appeared in 15 games with the Wolves, recording a 6-2-4 mark and a 3.08 goals against average.
