Lamar H. Bud Johnson, Sr., age 69, of Lawrenceville, passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2006. He is survived by his wife, Zelma Johnson; Son, Lamar H. (Hal) Johnson, Jr.; Daughter and Son-in-law, Robert and Karan Jones; Daughter and Son-in-law, Mark and Vivian Faircloth; Son and Daughter-in-law, Lee Jay and Cathy Johnson; Sister and Brother-in-law, Betty and Perry Stephens; Sister and Brother-in-law, Rosie and John Higgins; Uncle, Robert and Sue Johnson; Uncle, Leon and Eva Adams; Aunt, Evelyn and George Wilkerson; Eight Grandchildren, Nicholas Johnson, Maranda Capitano, Cory Johnson, Lauren Johnson, Petra Ehlert, Robert Jones, Trent Johnson and Payton Johnson; Three Great-Grandchildren, Alex Johnson, Tristan Johnson and Keaton Capitano. Bud retired from General Motors Doraville after 32 years of service and was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a member of the Lawrenceville Masonic Lodge #131 F&AM and Royal Arch Masons Taylor Chapter #48. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, January 17, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at Wages & Sons Gwinnett Chapel. Rev. John Colbaugh will officiate. Burial Gwinnett Memorial Park.
