McClellan - Keeble

Lindsay Erin McClellan of Athens and James Dustin Keeble of New York were married on July 16, 2005 at St. Edward's Episcopal Church in Lawrenceville. The Rev. Kent Branstetter and the Rev. Carri Patterson Grindon officiated the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Doug and Carole McClellan of Lawrenceville. She received her bachelor's degree in nursing from the Medical College of Georgia in May 2005.

The groom is the son of Jim and Rebecca Keeble of Lawrenceville. He received his bachelor's degree in drama from New York University in May 2005.

Sister of the bride, Kelsey McClellan of Lawrenceville, served as the bride's maid of honor.

Cousin of the bride, Kaylynn Warren of Phenix City, Ala. served as the flower girl. Special dance was given by Kate McGee of Buford, Mary Kathryn Webb of Augusta and Bethany Haymon of Athens.

Brother of the groom, Tony Keeble of Atlanta served as the groom's best man.

Cousin of the bride, Jordan Peppers of Loganville, served as the ringbearer. Ushers were Jonathan Runyon of Los Angeles, Justin Petty of Athens and Lucas Klauss of New York.

After a honeymoon trip to Eleuthera, Bahamas the couple now resides in New York.

Hendrix - Hamilton

Rebecca Ray Hendrix and Gene Patrick Hamilton, both of Grayson, were married on July 9, 2005 at Snellville United Methodist Church. The Rev. David Walters officiated the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ron Hendrix of Grayson. She is a student at the University of Georgia and working as a preschool teacher.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Steve Hamilton of Grayson. He is a graduate of the University of Georgia and works as a business director.

Elizabeth Hendrix of Newnan served as the bride's maid of honor.

Bridesmaids were Laura Hamilton of Grayson, Michelle Closson of Grayson, Allison Cushing of Snellville, Jacqueline Craven of Clearwater, Fla. and Jenny Ivie of Athens.

Aaron Hamilton of Grayson served as the groom's best man.

Groomsmen were Hans Bennewitz of Citrus Heights, Calif., David Bennewitz of Auburn, Calif., Bryan Jolley of Phoenix, Rawn Richardson of Queen Creek, Ariz. and Joseph Roznovak of Springerville, Ariz.

After a honeymoon trip to Hawaii the couple now resides in Grayson.

50th anniversary

Marshall G. and Margaret B. Reeves celebrated 50 years of marriage on Saturday. Mr. Reeves resided in Lilburn for 68 years, and the couple moved to Monroe five years ago. Mrs. Reeves is a native of Knoxville, Tenn. Mr. Reeves is semi-retired with K.C. Bowen Inc. and Mrs. Reeves retired after 21 years with Rich's/Macy's of Stone Mountain.

They have three children, Jody Reeves, Mr. and Mrs. Marty Reeves and Laurie Burkett. They have four grandchildren, Christie, Brittany, Matthew, Murkett and Austin Reeves.

The couple will take a holiday trip to Hidden Mountain Cabins in Pigeon Forge, provided by their daughter Laurie and husband Bryan.
