Gwinnett Daily Post
DULUTH - Grammy-nominated rock group Fall Out Boy will come to the Arena at Gwinnett Center on April 30, the band's label confirmed Monday.
The group has been dominating the airwaves recently with the catchy singles "Dance, Dance" and "Sugar, We're Goin' Down." The band will come through Gwinnett as part of its "Black Clouds and Underdogs" arena tour, scheduled to kick off March 15 in Albany, N.Y. The price of tickets and on-sale date were not immediately available. The band was nominated for the "Best New Artist" Grammy this year, along with Ciara, John Legend, Keane and Sugarland. The 48th annual Grammy Awards will air Feb. 8 on CBS. The band has already been racking up accolades - it won an MTV2 video music award, was chosen by People magazine as a "breakthrough act" and was named breakout band of the year by Entertainment Weekly. Its debut album, "From Under the Cork Tree," was released in May. After performing on the Vans Warped Tour and completing a two-month, sold out tour as headliners for the Nintendo Fusion tour last fall, Fall Out Boy is graduating to the arena circuit. They'll headline a bill with All-American Rejects.More like this story
