Alisa Christine Treadwell and Matthew Joseph Pognant were married on Nov. 5 at Lawrenceville Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Larry Wynn officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Barry and Debra Treadwell of Lawrenceville. She is a graduate of Hebron Christian Academy and Liberty University, where she received her bachelor's degree in nursing. She is employed by Piedmont Hospital, and works in the cardiovascular surgery unit.
The groom is the son of Joe and Cindy Pognant of Lawrenceville. He is a graduate of Central Gwinnett High School and Georgia Tech, where he received a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. He is employed by FM Global as a consultant engineer.
Meredith Treadwell of Lawrenceville served as the bride's maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Ashley Pognant of Lawrenceville; Diana Hammond of Lawrenceville; Amber Payne of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; and Mary Vargas of Roanoke, Va.
Joe Pognant of Lawrenceville served as the groom's best man.
Groomsmen were Trip Pognant of Lawrenceville, Jonathan Meese of Lawrenceville, Eric Davis of Lawrenceville and Brad Roby of Lawrenceville.
After a honeymoon trip to Ochos Rios, Jamaica, the couple now resides in Dacula.
