McDonald - Woodard

Richard and BettieSue McDonald of Tifton announce the engagement of their daughter, Michelle Marie McDonald, to Ryan Augustus Woodard, son of Clint and Nancy Woodard of Metter.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Georgia Southern University, where she earned a bachelor's degree in sports management and is employed with A.G. Edwards in Tifton. She is the granddaughter of BettyeJane Brosan of Lawrenceville, the late Mr. and Mrs. George Kobman, the late George Brosan and the late John McDonald.

The future groom is a graduate of Georgia Southern University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in business administration and is employed with George Turf & Tractor. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Woodard of Dublin, Mrs. James Walker of Tifton and the late James Walker.

The wedding is planned for Feb. 25 at St. Anne's Episcopal Church in Tifton.

Burgess - Morris

Tom and Sarah Burgess of Norcross announce the engagement of their daughter, Alaina Marie Burgess of Duluth, to Joshua Boyd Morris of Lilburn, son of the Rev. Jim and Patsy Morris of Lilburn.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Meadowcreek High School in Norcross and Furman University in Greenville, S.C. She is employed with Lanier Middle School in Buford. She is the granddaughter of Elizabeth Barnes of Apopka, Fla.

The future groom is a graduate of Brookwood High School and is employed with Crews Auto Repair in Lilburn. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Myers of Fayetteville.

The wedding is planned for May 20 in Duluth.

Diedericks - Knight

Johann and Alida Diedericks announce the engagement of their daughter, Paula Diedericks of Monroe, to Devin Brian Knight of Lawrenceville, son of W. Dennis and Debra Knight.

The bride-elect has received a certificate in computer graphic arts. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Johann P. Diedericks, Jan Viljoen and the late Lenie Viljoen, all of South Africa.

The future groom is attending Georgia Perimeter College, earning his associate's degree in business administration and working with QuikTrip Corporation. He is the grandson of the late Wendell Knight and Ruby Knight and Mr. and Mrs. Dwayne Prosen of Georgia.

The wedding is planned for January 2007 at Peachtree Road Baptist Church.
