Samuel Graham and Associates in Lawrenceville as a dental assistant. She is the daughter of the late Boyce Pruitt of Buford and the granddaughter of Golden and Helen Brooks of Loganville and the late Winfred and Ruth Pruitt of Buford.
The future groom is a 2000 graduate of Dacula High School and a 2002 honor graduate of Nashville Auto Diesel College with a degree in auto diesel technology and high performance fabrication and welding. He is employed with Haywood Construction Incorporates, where he has joined the family business as a contractor and co-owner. He is the grandson of Wilson O. Judy of South Carolina, the late Louise Judy of Lawrenceville and Reba Haywood and the late Walker D. Haywood of Lawrenceville.
Paxson - Martin
Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Paxson of Bostwick announce the engagement of their daughter, Melanie Lynn Paxson, to Justin Michael Martin, son of Sharon Martin and the late Michael Martin of Flowery Branch.

She is a 1997 graduate of Morgan County High School in Madison and received her bachelor's degree in criminal justice in 2001 from Valdosta State University. She is employed by South Carolina Department of Probation, Parole, and Pardon Services as a probation and parole agent in Beaufort, S.C.
The future groom is the grandson of Frances Dove and the late Gordon Cohen Dove and the late Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Martin, all of Duluth. He is a 1999 graduate of Meadowcreek High School and received his bachelor's degree in criminal justice in 2004 from Valdosta State University. He is employed by Martin Landscape as an installation foreman in Beaufort, S.C.
The wedding is planned for March 25 at Gibbs Memorial Baptist Church in Bostwick.
