James Carl McKee, age 85, of Dacula, died February 23, 2006. He was born and raised in Henry County and retired from Nabisco after 43 years of service. Mr. McKee was a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church and a veteran of WWII. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Bankston McKee; son, John Wayne McKee and wife, Pamela, Lawrenceville; son, Charles Madison McKee and wife, Laura, Ellijay; grandchildren, Steve and Greg McKee and Chrissy Bain; 3 great grandchildren; brother, Bun McKee, Tucker; and many loving family members and friends. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 26, 2006 at 3 pm at Ward's Fairview Chapel with Reverend Ron Capes officiating. Interment to follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends today from 4-8 at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home, Fairview Chapel, Stockbridge, 770-474-1231.
