Odell Yarbrough, age 89, of Lilburn, GA, passed away Wednesday afternoon, February 22, 2006, after a brief illness. The funeral will be Sunday, February 26, 2005, at 3 PM (with remains placed in state at 2:30 PM) in the First Baptist Church of Lilburn with Rev. Ken Hall, Rev. Louie McDonald, Pastor of Rosewood Baptist Church of Columbia, SC, and Mrs. Susan Rumble officiating. A native of Gwinnett County, he retired from Ford Motor Company Assembly Plant in 1978 and was a long time resident of Lilburn, GA. He was a member and deacon of the First Baptist Church of Lilburn for over 65 years. He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Mary Pauline Yarbrough; his parents, Marvin and Sallie Yarbrough; sisters, Lottie Stephens and Ruby Kenerly; and his brothers, Kelly Yarbrough and Clayton Yarbrough. He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Helen and Mel Reynolds, Talking Rock, GA, Dianne and Louie McDonald, Columbia, SC; his son and daughter-in-law, Don and Donna Yarbrough, Lawrenceville, GA; 10 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and 7 great-great grandchildren; also a beloved sister, Mrs. Codell Y. Parker, Stone Mountain, GA; as well as several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Saturday from 5 until 7 PM at the Bill Head Funeral Homes and Crematory, Lilburn/Tucker Chapel, 770-564-2726.
