Gwinnett Daily Post
The Gwinnett Gladiators got rookie right wing Guillaume Desbiens back from AHL Chicago and acquired another forward, Brian Teixeira, from Charlotte for financial considerations on Wednesday.
In addition, defenseman Danny Eberly has been placed on the seven-day injured reserve list. Desbiens, called up Feb. 9, returns to the Gladiators after appearing in two games with the Wolves. The Alma, Quebec, native was voted an ECHL All-Star this season and leads Gladiator rookies in goals scored with 22. Teixeria comes to Gwinnett from Charlotte where he has recorded one goal and three assists in 23 games this season for the Checkers. The Fallmouth, Mass., native played four seasons at Williams College where he posted 54 points in 95 career collegiate games before beginning his rookie season this year. Desbiens and Teixeria should be available for the Gladiators for Friday's 7:30 p.m. road game against the Florida Everblades. - From staff reportsMore like this story
