Duluth resident and "American Idol" contestant, Kinnik Sky performed Tuesday evening on the show's fifth season. One of 12 female contestants, the 28-year-old sang Oleta Adams' "Get Here."
The three judges had mixed reviews. Randy Jackson gave the performance a 6 out of 10, Paula Abdul said she thought it was a powerful performance and Simon Cowell said she was overshadowed by the younger performers' talents. This week, "American Idol" airs two more times: Wednesday and Thursday at 8 p.m. Viewers are invited to vote both nights, and the first results show is Thursday.More like this story
