Mr. James B. "Jim" Arnette, Sr., age 59, of Buford, GA passed away on Friday, February 17, 2006 at Peachtree Christian Hospice after a brief illness. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mrs. Mayum Parsons Arnette. He is survived by his: Wife of 29 years: Mrs. Vicky Evans Arnette, Buford, GA; Daughters and Sons-In-Law: Stephanie and Chad Powell, Cumming, GA, Laura and Brian Horne, Cookeville, TN; Sons and Daughters-In-Law: Jim Arnette, Jr. and wife, Marie, Lawrenceville, GA, Gregg and Paige Arnette, Lawrenceville, GA, Jess Arnette, Buford, GA; Grandchildren: Ansley Arnette, Autumn Arnette, and Alex Arnette, Luke Horne, Kate Powell, and Georgia Powell; Father: Clyde Arnette, Cumming, GA; Brother and Sister-In-Law: Ronnie and Gail Arnette, Stockbridge, GA; Several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. Mr. Arnette was born on March 19, 1946 in Kingstree, SC. He was a 1964 graduate of Chamblee High School, Chamblee, GA. He was a Field Technical Consultant with Lennox Industries. He was a member of Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church, Lilburn, GA. Funeral service will be held on Monday, February 20, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church, 1400 Killian Hill Road, Lilburn, GA with Dr. Maynard Pittendreigh officiating. Interment in Broadlawn Memorial Gardens, Buford, GA. Ann Hall Brown, age 71 of Dacula, Georgia passed away on February 16, 2006. A memorial service will be held at the National Cremation Society Chapel in Lilburn at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 21, 2006. Rev. Victor Nickelson will officiate. Ann was born in Mobile, Alabama. She graduated from Murphy High School in Mobile in 1951 and attended Montevallo College. She is survived by her husband J. Frank Brown, 3 children, Robert Brown of Mobile, Alabama, Kathy White of San Antonio, Texas and Elizabeth Weaver of Auburn, Georgia and their spouses, Belinda Brown, J.D. White and Mitch Weaver. She was a proud grandmother to Daniel, Robin, Jamie, Jason, Sherlyn and Jessica. She also was a great-grandmother to Daniel, Allison and Aiden. She is also survived by a brother, Charles R. Hall III of West Virginia. Ann was a long time banker by profession and then became a secretary for the Internal Revenue Service. She was active in the Winnbrook Estates neighborhood association. Elaine T. Weller, age 66 of Las Cruces, NM, formerly of Snellville, GA died February 16, 2006. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cyril and Mary Anne Terna, brothers, C. James Terna, DDS, Jackie Terna, David Terna and by the father of her loving children, David A. Weller. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Alyson and Stephen Morrison, grandsons, Joshua and Dylan Morrison all of Lawrenceville; sons and daughter-in-law, David B. Weller; Douglas C. and Tracy Weller, granddaughter, Courtney Weller, and grandson Tristen Weller all of Loganville; significant other, Clyde Decker of Las Cruces, NM; sister, Paula and Ron Krispli of Youngstown, Ohio; brother, Jerry and Janice Terna of Florida; sister-in-law, Ruth Terna of Kaneohe, Hawaii; 3 nephews, 1 niece. Ms. Weller was a certified nurse midwife for 24 years and was in the nursing profession, labor and delivery for 20 years, prior to becoming a certified nurse midwife. She had the pleasure of delivering thousands of babies, including 2 of her grandsons. Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 19 at 2pm at Wages Snellville Chapel. Miss Hale, a native of Lawrenceville, lived in Atlanta for most of her life before moving to Stockton Walk in Snellville. She was a member of Second Ponce de Leon Baptist Church is Atlanta and retired after 39 years of service from Specialty Products and Insulation Company.
