Mathis - Drucker
Mr. and Mrs. Charles L. Mathis of Lawrenceville announce the engagement of their daughter, Rebecca Elizabeth Mathis, to Michael Abraham Drucker of Hoschton, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lee D. Drucker of Braselton.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Grady Holt Jr., Mrs. James H. Mathis and the late James H. Mathis, all of Lawrenceville. She is a 2003 graduate of Central Gwinnett High School and is a senior at the University of Georgia. She will graduate in December with a bachelor's degree in economics.
The future groom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Strelec of Belvedere, S.C. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Drucker of East Brunswick, N.J. He is a 2001 graduate of Central Gwinnett High School and attended Southern Polytechnic State University. He is a partner in the Specialize Transportation Group Inc. in Hoschton.
The wedding is planned for Oct. 21 at Vecoma at the Yellow River in Snellville.
Periconi - Schroeder
David and Frances Periconi of Goldsboro, N.C., announce the engagement of their daughter, Sally Frances Periconi of Alexandria, Va., to Harry Lee Schroeder of Arlington, Va., son of Lawson and Carole Schroeder of Stone Mountain.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Beatrice and the late Estell O'Conner of Cloverdale, Ind., and the late Eugene and Ruth Periconi of Binghamton, N.Y. She graduated from Lenoir-Rhyne College with a bachelor's degree and from Appalachian State University with a master's degree in Spanish. She teaches Spanish for Prince William County Schools in Virginia.
The future groom is the grandson of Edith and the late Harry Malone and the late George and Lorraine Schroeder, all of Memphis, Tenn. He is a graduate of Providence Christian Academy and a graduate of Oglethorpe University with a bachelor's degree in communications. He is employed with the Washington Capitals Hockey Team as a regional sales manager.
The wedding is planned for Oct. 21 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Hickory, N.C.

She also earned an associate's degree in music from Truett-McConnell College.
The future groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. James Boney of Hamilton Mill and Mr. and Mrs. Otis Mann of Montgomery, Ala. He is employed as the executive chef at the Flowery Branch Yacht Club.
