LAWRENCEVILLE - Police have identified two men found shot to death outside a Norcross apartment complex.
Gwinnett County police spokesman Cpl. Darren Moloney said the victims of Sunday's double homicide are Israel Hernandez, 46, of California, and Lucio Vazquez-Sanchez, 32, of Mexico. Investigators are not yet naming a motive in the case, Moloney said. The men were discovered at 7:24 a.m. Sunday inside a green SUV parked near the entrance of the Willow Trail apartment complex at 1500 Willow Trail Drive in the Norcross area. Moloney said the vehicle was displaying a drive-out tag, which is given by auto dealers before the owner registers the vehicle. He said the men did not shoot each other. "Aside from the bullet holes in the victims, I don't think there was any other damage," Moloney said. "I don't know if the shooting itself is or isn't gang related." Moloney said he was not at liberty to discuss where and how many times the men were shot. Anyone with information is asked to call the Gwinnett County Police Department at 770-513-5300.More like this story
