Spagnola - Amerman
Linda Angela Spagnola of Sugar Hill and Todd Brent Amerman of Buford were married Oct. 1 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Father Fred Wendel officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Joseph and Edwinna Spagnola of Cleveland. She is employed at Black Book.
The groom is the son of Carl and Joanne Amerman of Venice, Fla. He is employed with Publix supermarkets.
Heather Alsup of Orlando, Fla., served as the bride's matron of honor.
Bridesmaids were Cynthia Bowen of Long Island, N.Y., Lisa Underdahl of Dahlonega, JoMarie Spagnola of Jefferson and Michaela Underdahl of Dahlonega.
Brant Amerman of Orlando, Fla., served as the groom's best man. Groomsmen were Al Tucker of Dacula; Charles Cantrill of Orlando, Fla.; and Fran Balistreri of Auburn, N.Y.
After a wedding trip to Rome, Italy, the couple now resides in Buford.
Shaw - Moore
Melissa Ashley Shaw and David Kelley Moore II were married Sept. 3 at Bona Allen Mansion in Buford. Dr. Randall Knighton officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Randy and Dorothy Shaw of Duluth. She serves in the Army Reserves.
The groom is the son of Val Moore of Suwanee and David Kelley Moore and Joanne Moore of Lawrenceville. He also serves in the Army Reserves.
Bridesmaids were Kate Fultz, Heather Jamieson, Kim McCabe, Sarah Pritchard, Mary Rein and Natalie Shaw. Alice Etheridge served as a junior bridesmaid.
Groomsmen were Michael Briele, Mike Chambers, Matt Jamieson, Barry McCurdy, Jason Moore, Matt Muller, Steven Sewell, Jonathan (J.J.) Shaw, Eric Siso, Josh Stimpson, James Tarver and Brandon Watts.
After a honeymoon trip to St. Lucia, the couple resides in Braselton.
Fran and Joe Reznicek recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with family and friends at Gwinnett Place Marriott.
The Rezniceks were married Jan. 26, 1946, in Chicago. They have one child, Gary; his wife, Robin; and two granddaughters, Erin and Kelly.
Quinton and Betty Waycaster were honored with a 50th wedding anniversary reception on Jan. 22 celebrating with friends and family at the West Buford Baptist Church Fellowhip Hall in Buford. The bride and groom were married on Jan. 27, 1956. The Waycasters have five children, 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
