Miles - Peart

Eileen and Phil Miles of Lawrenceville announce the engagement of their daughter, Heather Marie Miles, to Joshua Edward Peart, son of Gerald and Rose Peart of Asheville, N.C.

The bride-elect is a 1995 graduate of Central Gwinnett High School and received her associate's degree from Young Harris College and her bachelor's degree from Appalachian State University in Boone, N.C. She is employed as a teacher at First Presbyterian Church in Asheville, N.C.

The future groom received a bachelor's degree from the University of North Carolina at Asheville and is employed as a systems administrator at Extended Care Practice.

The wedding is planned for September in Asheville, N.C.

Bebeau - Parris

Carol and Bo Bebeau of Sugar Hill announce the engagement of their daughter, Lesley Caroline Bebeau, to Morgan Whit Parris, son of Wayne and Linda Parris of McDonough.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Ella Joe Bebeau of Decatur. She is a graduate of Auburn University, where she received a bachelor's degree in journalism. She is employed as a loan specialist with SouthStar Funding.

The future groom is a graduate of Auburn University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. He is employed at Butler International as a mechanical engineer.

The wedding is planned for April 22.

Weaver - Johnson

Mr. and Mrs. Donald M. Weaver of Lawrenceville announce the engagement of their daughter, Leslie Anne Weaver, to Andrew Marler Johnson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Luther Johnson of Raleigh, N.C.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Carl C. Reid and the late Evelyn P. Reid of Mooresville, N.C. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a master's degree. She is employed at Duke Hospital in Durham, N.C. as a speech language pathologist.

The future groom is the grandson of Pauline Johnson of Benson, N.C. He graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is employed by the N.C. State Employees Credit Union in Hillsborough, N.C.

The wedding is planned for May 27 at University Presbyterian Church in Chapel Hill, N.C.

Mathis - Drucker

Mr. and Mrs. Charles L. Mathis of Lawrenceville announce the engagement of their daughter, Rebecca Elizabeth Mathis, to Michael Abraham Drucker of Hoschton, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lee D. Drucker of Braselton.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Grady Holt Jr., Mrs. James H. Mathis and the late Mr. James H. Mathis, all of Lawrenceville. She is a 2003 graduate of Central Gwinnett High School and is a senior at the University of Georgia. She will graduate in December with a bachelor's degree in economics.

The future groom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Strelec of Bevedere, S.C. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Drucker of East Brunswick, N.J. He is a 2001 graduate of Central Gwinnett High School and attended Southern Polytechnic State University. He is a partner in the Specialize Transportation Group Inc. in Hoschton.

The wedding is planned for Oct. 21 at Vecoma at the Yellow River in Snellville.

Thompson - Rising

Mr. and Mrs. James Dorian Thompson of Jacksonville, Fla., announce the engagement of their daughter, Mary Claire Thompson, to Tyson Patrick Rising, son of Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Stephenson Rising of Lawrenceville.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Judge and Mrs. Joel Stewart Rhwaites and Mr. and Mrs. James Earnest Thompson, all of Atlanta. She is a graduate of the Bolles School in Jacksonville, Fla., and a graduate of Vanderbilt University. She is employed by Medtronic Sofamor Danek.

The future groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. G. A. Kyker Sr.; the late Martha Coyner Kyker of Jackson, Miss.; and the late Mr. and Mrs. H. R. Rising of St. Simons. He is a graduate of Greater Atlanta Christian School and Georgia State University and is employed by Merrill Lynch.

The wedding is planned for May 6 in Jacksonville, Fla.
