LAWRENCEVILLE - Police are seeking a suspect believed to be responsible for the shooting death of a Snellville man.
Christopher Benjamin Roesser of Lawrenceville is wanted in the Dec. 20 slaying of 25-year-old Keith Price, according to a press release issued by the Lawrenceville Police Department. Police say the shooting may have been motivated by drugs. The incident occurred about 9 p.m. at Averitt Express Inc., a trucking company located at 1156 Old Norcross Road in Lawrenceville. Warrants for felony murder, possession of a handgun during the commission of a crime and criminal attempt to distribute marijuana have been issued for Roesser's arrest. According to an employee at Averitt, Roesser worked in the shop, but no one there has seen him since the night of the shooting. A supervisor on duty at Averitt said he didn't think Price was an employee. Roesser is considered armed and dangerous, and anyone with information leading to his arrest is asked to call Lawrenceville police at 770-963-2443.More like this story
