NORCROSS - Police are investigating a homicide after they found a Norcross man dead in his home Monday night.
Police found 63-year-old Rupert Noble dead in his Robinwood townhome about 9:45 p.m. after family members asked police to check on him.
Darren Moloney, Gwinnett County Police Department spokesman, said police and family members searched outside the home located at 2340 Beaver Ruin Road.
"We received a call and looked around the residence but didn't see any reason to force entry," Moloney said. "The family met us at the residence and they forced into the home. That's when we found the deceased."
Moloney said investigators suspect foul play. He said there were no signs of breaking and entering into the home when police and the victim's family arrived at the townhome.
He said investigators are not releasing the cause of death.
The man lived in the townhome with his 31-year-old son, Mark Noble, who Moloney said has been missing since they found Noble's body Christmas Day.
The younger Noble is wanted for questioning by police in relation to the death of his father.
Police believe the son may be driving his father's car, a green Honda Accord with Georgia tag 341GEA.
Anyone with information about the incident or Noble's whereabouts is asked to call Gwinnett County investigators at 770-513-5364.
