Mathis - Drucker
Rebecca Elizabeth Mathis and Michael Abraham Drucker were married on Oct. 21 at Vecoma at the Yellow River in Snellville. The Rev. Thomas A. Johnson officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles L. Mathis of Lawrenceville.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lee D. Drucker of Braselton.
The bride's sister, Margaret Bryant of Sandy Springs, served as matron of honor. Jenna Town of Marietta and Leah Moore of Carrollton served as maids of honor. Bridesmaids were Lana Drucker of Woodstock, Jill Heard of Lawrenceville, Leigh Heard of Lawrenceville and Nicole Roberts of Bethlehem. Ava Elizabeth Bryant of Sandy Springs served as the flower girl.
The groom's father, Lee Drucker, served as the best man.
Groomsmen were Patrick Dowd of Lawrenceville, Justin Feeley of Lawrenceville, Will Prevost of Lawrenceville, Daniel Russel of Lawrenceville, Chris Roberts of Lawrenceville, Justin Roberts of Bethlehem and Ryan Taylor of Stone Mountain. Jake Bryant Jr. of Sandy Springs and Dalton Roberts of Bethlehem served as ring bearers.
After a honeymoon in St. Lucia, the couple now resides in Hoschton.
Beasley - Smith
Angela Elaine Beasley and David Joe Smith Jr. were married on Aug. 5 at Bethlehem United Methodist Church. The Rev. Paul Garner and the Rev. Scott Sims officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Ed and Janet Beasley of Buford. She is a 2000 graduate of North Gwinnett High School. She is a 2004 graduate of the University of Georgia, where she received a bachelor's degree in finance. She is attending Brenau University pursuing a master's degree.
The groom is the son of David and Jane Smith of Flowery Branch. He is a 2000 graduate of West Hall High School. He is employed with ICI Paints.
Tia Henderson of Winder served as the bride's maid of honor and Chrissy Williamson of Braselton served as the bride's matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Mollie Merrow of Spartanburg, S.C., Maggie Bowen of Buford, Monica Lopez of Suwanee, Melissa Mays of Braselton and Trisha Chavez of Buford.
Brian Smith of Flowery Branch served as the groom's best man. Groomsmen were Matt Smith of Flowery Branch, Wes Crawford of Flowery Branch, Jason Ott of Gainesville, Brandon Buckner of Destin, Fla., Michael Zimmerman of Gainesville and Todd Ryle of Winder.
After a honeymoon in Maui, the couple now resides in Braselton.
Aiken - Pelot
Amber Nicole Aiken and Matthew Walker Pelot were married on June 24 at Gainesville First Baptist Church. The Rev. Wayne Johnson officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Bennet and Gail Aiken of Flowery Branch. She is a 2002 graduate of Buford High School. She is a 2006 graduate of the University of West Georgia, where she received bachelor's degrees in economics and finance. She is attending Mercer University's Walter F. George School of Law.
The groom is the son of Walker and Sue Pelot of Buford. He is a 2001 graduate of Buford High School. He is a 2006 graduate of the University of West Georgia, where he received a bachelor's degree in physical education. He is employed with Upson Lee Middle School as a physical education teacher and coach.
April Aiken of Atlanta, sister of the bride, served as the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Fran Abernathy of Buford, Erica Degnan of Buford, Laura Little of Carrollton, Karly Patterson of Douglasville, Leslie Sazera of Suwanee, Fran Smith of Gainesville and Whitney Walker of Carrollton.
Layne Drew, cousin of the bride, served as the flower girl.
