•BUFORD - Nearly $800 worth of copper wire was stolen from the basement of an unfinished home in Stone Ridge Manor on Wednesday.
According to a police report, the wires were cleanly cut with the middle part of the wire taken.
A worker with Oakwood Village Construction told police no other items were removed from the home.
The man estimated it would cost approximately $3,000 to fix the damage. The construction worker told police this is the third time wires had been stolen from the home.
Police advised the man of a way to secure the home to protect valuables inside.
Hotel rooms robbed
•NORCROSS - Three vacant rooms at the 6015 Oakbrook Parkway Motel 6 were robbed at a unknown time between Tuesday night and Thursday morning.
According to a police report, someone entered the rooms by removing the vents from the rooms' air conditioning unit, pushing the units into the room to create an entrance.
An employee of the motel told police someone attempted to remove a television bolted to a stand inside one of the rooms and a television worth nearly $200 was taken from a second room.
The rooms were located on the back side of the motel.
Men stick up store
•DULUTH - Four armed men robbed a video game store in Duluth Wednesday night.
The men entered the Space Zone store and forced the 19-year-old clerk on the floor while the men took money from the register.
According to a police report, several game machines were broken and money was removed from the collection cans inside the machines.
The owner of the store told police $700 was taken from the register and nearly $5,000 in damage was done to the game machines.
No injuries were reported.
•NORCROSS - A Norcross man was robbed at gunpoint Thursday at his Danbury Drive home.
The victim told police three black men approached him as he exited his vehicle parked in the driveway of his home.
According to a police report, one of the men pointed a gun at the victim, told him to put up his hands and proceeded to remove his wallet and cell phone from his pants pockets.
The men fled with nearly $200 from the victim's wallet.
Responding medics treated the victim for a head wound he received when one of the suspects hit him with a gun. He was treated and released.
