Snellville man says he was robbed

•SNELLVILLE - Police are looking for a man who robbed a Snellville man and attempted to take his vehicle Tuesday.

According to a police report, the 18-year-old victim was driving down a street off Centerville Highway when a man jumped into his moving vehicle and demanded he give him money.

Continuing to ask for money, the suspect took the driver's keys and cell phone and attempted to remove a television from the dash of the vehicle.

The victim was hit and punched in the head multiple times.

The suspect later fled when the victim pushed the panic button on his key remote.

The victim told police he knows the man who robbed him.

Police dusted the victim's vehicle for fingerprints.

with stealing tire

•NORCROSS - While at a Norcross gas station Monday a Lawrenceville woman witnessed a man trying to remove a tire from her vehicle.

According to a police report, the victim parked her car at the Shell Gas Station at 915 Indian Trail Road and entered the store. When she returned to her car, she told police, she saw a man using a jack and tire iron to remove one of her tires.

Police arrived to find the victim and a witness who had detained the suspect.

Suspect Silverio Gonzalez-Mediola, 20, of 4280 South Lee St. in Buford was arrested and charged with theft by taking.

Gonzalez-Medoila told the victim and police he needed the tire to replace a flat tire on his vehicle.

Manager fears

former employee

•AUBURN - A manager at a local mobile home park fired an employee in October after the employee threatened him with bodily harm, police reports said. The manager quit his job sometime later.

The employee was rehired by the mobile home park. The former manager, who lives on the property, told police he had been told by a third man that the employee would rob him if he caught the former manager alone.

The former manager filed a police report just in case something should happen to him in the future.
