Green - Blanchard
Gretchen Melissa Green and Patrick G. Blanchard Jr. were married on Aug. 12 at the Sacred Heart Cultural Center in Augusta. Jack L. Snellgrove and the Rev. Sidney Austin Gates Jr. officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Michael Green of Suwanee. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Lee Williams of Tucker, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Jack Green. She is a graduate of Meadowcreek High School. She is a graduate of Piedmont College, where she received a bachelor's degree in biology. She is also a graduate of the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, where she received a bachelor's degree in dental hygiene. She is a student at the Medical College of Georgia and plans to graduate in May from the school of dentistry.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Patrick G. Blanchard of Augusta. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Brannen Banks and Mildred Pollard Blanchard of Appling, and the late John Pierce Blanchard. He is a graduate of The Academy of Richmond County Comprehensive High School in Augusta. He attended Augusta State University and is employed as a professional musician and is the owner of Riverside Music in Augusta.
The bride's sister, Samantha Michelle Green of Suwanee, served as the bride's maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Kelly Marie Karius of Augusta, Candice Leigh Kendall of Atlanta, Beth Donahue Pombo of Winston-Salem, N.C., Lori Kaye Reynierson of Grovetown, Rachel Beth Rogers of Raleigh, N.C., and Mary Blanchard Rayburn of Augusta, sister-in-law of the bride.
The groom's father, Patrick G. Blanchard, served as best man. Groomsmen were Jonathan Carter Blanchard of Grovetown, Benjamin Pascal Casella of Birmingham, Ala., Andrew Blaine Farley of Lexington, S.C., Adam Forrest Hatfield of Virginia Beach, Va., John Carl Kolbeck of North Augusta, S.C., and Matthew David Stocks, of Woodstock.
After a honeymoon in St. Lucia, the couple now resides in Augusta.
Mathis - Drucker
Rebecca Elizabeth Mathis and Michael Abraham Drucker were married on Oct. 21. The Rev. Thomas A. Johnson officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles L. Mathis of Lawrenceville.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lee D. Drucker of Braselton.
The bride's sister, Margaret Bryant of Sandy Springs, served as the bride's matron of honor. Jenna Town of Marietta and Leah Moore of Carrolton served as the bride's maids of honor. Bridesmaids were Lana Drucker of Woodstock, Jill Heard of Lawrenceville, Leigh Heard of Lawrenceville and Nicole Roberts of Bethlehem.
The groom's father, Lee Drucker, served as the best man. Groomsmen were Patrick Dowd of Lawrenceville, Justin Feeley of Lawrenceville, Will Prevost of Lawrenceville, Daniel Russel of Lawrenceville, Chris Roberts and Lawrenceville, Justin Roberts of Bethlehem and Ryan Taylor of Stone Mountain.
After a honeymoon in St. Lucia, the couple now resides in Hoschton.
