Mr. Richard A. Johnston, age 82, of Buford, GA, passed away on Saturday, December 2, 2006. He is survived by: Wife: Mrs. Margaret J. Mr. Johnston was born on April 23, 1924 in Chicago, IL. He was a 1948 graduate of Maryland University. He played football in the 1943 Sugar Bowl and was coached by Paul "Bear" Bryant at the University of Maryland. He was an avid football fan. He was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Navy. Annie Florine Lewis Lemke, age 90 of Loganville, Georgia, died peacefully December 3, 2006, surrounded by her family. She was born on October 7, 1916, in Atlanta, Georgia, the daughter of the late Asmon Joseph Lewis and Mittie Kilpatrick Lewis. She was predeceased by her husband, Claud Eugene Lemke, Jr., and sister and brother, Pauline Lewis Dover and Joe Lewis. She is survived by daughters, Virginia L. Howell and husband, Harold Howell of Loganville, Georgia, Claudia L. A member of Snellville United Methodist Church, the Adult Bible Class, Primetimers, and United Methodist Women, she was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter 111, and for many years she served as a volunteer at the East Side Medical Center where she was lovingly known as the "duck lady." One of her special talents was crocheting beautiful afghans, and she gave away many of them as gifts. She was also an excellent cook and a seat at her dinner table was always prized by all those lucky enough to have known her. Funeral services will be held at 11am Wednesday, December 6, 2006, at Snellville United Methodist Church, with Dr. David Jones and Dr. Richard Hunter officiating.
