Hagemeister - Ricketts

Neil and Jessica Hagemeister of Davison, Mich. announce the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer Lynn Hagemeister of Lawton, Okla., to Lt. William Gray Ricketts of Lawton, Okla., son of Ron and Letitia Ricketts of Lilburn.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Stanley and Myrtle Hagemeister of Flint, Mich. and Peggy Ives of Davison, Mich. She is a graduate of Davison High School. She is a 2001 magna cum laude graduate of Georgia State University, where she received a bachelor's degree in criminal justice. She is employed by Nordstrom's Inc.

The future groom is the grandson of Otis and Evelyn Ricketts of Valdosta and the late W.T. and Jaunell Taylor of Hazlehurst. He is a graduate of Berkmar High School. He is a 2004 graduate of the American Intercontinental University, where he received a bachelor's degree in information systems. He is a 2006 graduate of the Officers Candidate School and is a lieutenant in the Army, stationed at Fort Sill, Okla.

The wedding is planned for Dec. 30 at the Carl House in Auburn.

Anderson - McMullan

Mr. and Mrs. Skip Anderson of Snellville announce the engagement of their daughter, Whitney Brooke Anderson of Snellville, to John Clair McMullan of Athens, son of Mr. and Mrs. William O. McMullan Jr. of Elberton.

The bride-elect is the grand-daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Gene Moore of Stone Mountain and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Portoghese of Apopka, Fla., and the late Andy Anderson of Oveido, Fla. She is a graduate of South Gwinnett High School. She is a graduate of the University of Georgia, where she received a bachelor's degree in finance and is employed by The Georgia Club as the director of fitness, swim and tennis.

The future groom is the grandson of the late Robert L. Knell and Elizabeth M. Knell of Elberton and the late Mr. and Mrs. William O. McMullan of Cornelia. He is a graduate of Elbert County High School and Valdosta State University, where he received a bachelor's degree in history. He also received a degree in turf grass management from Horry-Georgetown Technical College in Conway, S.C. He is employed by The Georgia Club as the golf course superintendent.

The wedding is planned for April 21 at the Snellville United Methodist Church.

Rivero - Higgison

Mr. and Mrs. Raul Luis Rivero Jr. of Suwanee announce the engagement of their daughter, Leslie Kristine Rivero to Henry Grant Higgison of Bethesda, Md., son of Linda Fischer Higgison and the late Edwin Cole Higgison.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Irmina Gomez Rivero and the late Dr. Raul Luis Rivero and Mr. and Mrs. Rafael Reyes. She is a 2000 graduate of Collins Hill High School. She is a 2004 graduate of the University of Georgia, where she received a bachelor's degree in management information systems and marketing. She is employed by KPMG LLP in Atlanta as an information risk management senior associate.

The future groom is the grandson of Sara Jewell Higgison and the late Edwin William Higgison and Frances Hunter Fischer and the late Richard Henry Fischer. He is a 1998 graduate of Woodberry Forest School in Orange, Va. He is a 2002 graduate of Tulane University, where he received a bachelor's degree in marketing. He is a 2006 graduate of James Madison University, where he received a master's degree in athletic administration. He is employed by Bridgewater College in Bridgewater, Va., as the defense coordinator for the Bridgewater Eagles football team.

The wedding is planned for Dec. 29 in Alpharetta.

Ellis - Presley

George and Judy Ellis of Watkinsville announce the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer Nicole Ellis of Bethlehem, to James Elvis Presley of Buford, son of Joy Presley of Stone Mountain and Jim and Roseann Presley of Oconee.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Georgia College and State University and is employed as a police officer in Suwanee.

The future groom is a member of the U.S. Marine Corps and is employed as a trooper with the Georgia State Patrol.

The wedding is planned for Saturday at Bethlehem United Methodist Church in Bethlehem.
