Man finds home burglarized
•LAWRENCEVILLE - A Lawrenceville man discovered his home had been robbed when he arrived at his Parc River Boulevard residence Tuesday.
According a police report, the victim's home was entered without any damage to the home or to the locks.
Multiple items, including the homeowner's passport, jewelry and electronics worth nearly $6,000, were taken from the home.
The victim told police he had not given anyone a spare key.
•SNELLVILLE - A Snellville man notified police of a possible robbery of two neighboring townhomes Tuesday.
The witness told police he heard scratching noises coming from the home next to his and noticed a black man wearing a green shirt standing near the door of one of the Highpoint Road townhomes 15 minutes before he called police.
According to a report, police arrived at adjacent residence, noticed a broken window and found the door open.
Police searched the residence and found no one inside. A second adjoining home also appeared to have been broken into.
Police left contact information for both homeowners who were not present at the time the officers arrived.
FBI investigates bank robbery
•STONE MOUNTAIN - The FBI continues to investigate a robbery that took place at a Stone Mountain Bank of America on Wednesday afternoon.
According to a police report, an armed black man wearing a clear face mask entered the bank and demanded money from a teller.
Witnesses told police the man fled the scene in a red passenger car in an unknown direction with an unknown amount of money.
