Ruby B. Parker, age 104, of Snellville, GA, died Thursday, November 30, 2006. The funeral will be Sunday, December 3, 2006 at 2pm in the Bill Head Funeral Home Lilburn/Tucker Chapel with Rev. Gordon Pittard officiating. Burial will follow in Corinth Cemetery, Stone Mountain, GA. Born in Gwinnett County, she was the oldest member of Corinth Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her children, Lillian Parker Smith, General Robert Parker and John Brownlee Parker and her grandson, David Wayne Parker and is survived by her sons, Frank D. Parker, Douglasville, GA and Cecil R. Parker, Guyton, GA; 11 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions in her memory to the Corinth Cemetery Perpetual Care Fund, P.O. Box 870048, Stone Mountain, GA 30087. The family will receive friends Saturday from 4 until 8 pm at the Bill Head Funeral Homes and Crematory, Lilburn/Tucker Chapel, 770-564-2726.
