We hear that a group of cheerleaders from Parkview High School in Lilburn collected six big boxes of canned foods and nonperishables during a canned food drive earlier this month. The food was donated to the Lilburn Cooperative Ministry, their coach says.
It's just one of several community projects the cheerleaders worked on over the summer. The girls also collected stuffed bears for children involved with the Dream House for Medically Fragile Children and volunteered at a golf tournament for that group.
