Man accused of dropping pants outside store

•BUFORD - A 17-year-old Buford man was arrested Friday after allegedly mooning customers at Ceramica Studios in Mall of Georgia.

Brandon William Horgan dropped his pants outside the store and placed his buttocks against the window in full view of several children and adults, according to a police report. Horgan ran away from a security officer to a McDonald's restaurant across the street from the mall, where he was arrested by a police officer.

Horgan is charged with disorderly conduct.

Gas station robbed by

scarf-clad man

•SNELLVILLE - An unidentified man wearing a white scarf wrapped around his head Friday robbed Exxon gas station at 3021 Everson Road.

The man came into the store at 9:30 p.m. and approached a clerk, placing a gun to his stomach. He demanded money from the register and from the clerk's wallet, according to a police report.

He fled the store on foot toward an adjacent Kroger grocery store. The suspect is described as a black man of average build, about 20 years old and 6 feet 1 inch tall. He reportedly wore a black shirt and tan pants.

Man invades woman's home, demands money

•NORCROSS - A 29-year-old housewife and her 11-month-old son were the victims of a home invasion Friday at Chelsea Park Apartments on Chelsea Park Lane.

The victim told police that about 2:30 p.m. a thin Hispanic man wearing all black clothing and a black baseball cap knocked on her door.

The man forced his way inside the apartment, pulled out a knife and demanded money. He ordered the woman and her son to go into a bathroom and threatened to rape her if she came out, the police report said.

The intruder spent the next 30 minutes rummaging through the apartment. After he left, the victim ran to a neighbor's apartment for help. The victim reportedly said she did not recognize the suspect and did not know why he targeted her for robbery.
