Kratowicz - Phillips
Karen Alfreda Kratowicz and William Tyler Phillips were married on May 27 at St. John Neumann Catholic Church in Lilburn. The Rev. Michael Byrne and Dr. James E. Hunter III officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Joe and Carol Kratowicz of Lawrenceville. She is a 1999 graduate of Brookwood High School and a graduate of Auburn University. She received her bachelor's degree in elementary education and is pursuing her master's degree at Georgia State University in reading education. She is employed by Britt Elementary as a third-grade teacher.
The groom is the son of William and Gail Phillips of Chapin, S.C. He is a 1996 graduate of Dorman High School and a graduate of Emory University, where he received a bachelor's degree in psychology. He is employed by Wachovia as a private banker.
Jenny Kratowicz of Lawrenceville served as the bride's maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Ann Jackson of Fayetteville, Amanda Peacock of Daphne, Ala., Nancy Ann Phillips of Chapin, S.C., Mary Ellen Proctor of Atlanta, Lauren Rearick of Roswell and Erin Walley of Durham, N.C.
Dr. William H. Phillips of Chapin, S.C. served as the groom's best man.
Groomsmen were Dr. Jeremy Anderson of Spartanburg, S.C., Jason Cantrell of Spartanburg, S.C., Joey Kratowicz of Lawrenceville, Tom Kratowicz of Lawrenceville, Brad Literati of Savannah and Brett Weal of Atlanta.
The couple honeymooned in the western Caribbean and now resides in Duluth.
Pagan - Roman
Lauren Rose Pagan and Guillermo Antonio Roman were married on June 24 at St. Simon's Island. The Rev. Glen Rowden officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Jeanne Pagan of Snellville and John Pagan of Tampa, Fla. She is a 2002 graduate of Brookwood High School and is pursuing a degree in business management at Columbia College.
The groom is the son of Wille and Ramona Roman of Lawrenceville. He is a 2002 graduate of Brookwood High School and a soldier in the Army.
Tiffany Elgin of Carrollton served as the bride's maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Alexis Johnson of Carrollton, Amy Kane of Lawrenceville and Vanessa Roman of Lawrenceville.
Julio Escalante of Lawrenceville served as the groom's best man.

The couple now resides in Fort Stewart.
