Celeste “Lessie” Silvers, age 87 of Buford, GA, died Friday, August 11, 2006 after an extended illness. Funeral Service will be held Monday, August 14, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Rev. Lloyd Ferguson will officiate. Interment will follow in Hamilton Mill Memorial Gardens, Buford. The Family will receive friends on Sunday, August 13, 2006 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 P.M. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 6500 Sugarloaf Parkway, Suite 260, Duluth, GA 30097 or Phone 1-800-227-2345. Mrs. Silvers was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Silvers and daughter, Barbara Dooly. Surviving are Son In-law, John H. Dooly, Buford; Grandchildren, Joyce and Steve Figueroa, Buford, Tammy and Jim Lyle, Chamblee, John and Dawn Dooly, Buford, Mark and Lori Dooly, Buford, Cheryl and Larry Smallwood, Suwanee; 6 Great Grandchildren. Mrs. Silvers was a native of Fulton County, GA, a retired dry cleaners owner in Buford, and a member of Crossroads Baptist Church, Lawrenceville, GA.
