Notice is hereby given that an election will be held in the City of Grayson, Georgia, on Tuesday, November 7, 2006 at the Grayson Senior Center, 1 Park Drive, to elect two members of the City Council. The terms of office for Post 1 Council Member Tammy Shumate and Post 3 Council Member Jimmy Adams expire on the first Monday in January 2007 and their successors are required to be elected in the municipal election scheduled for November 7, 2006; and

Notice is hereby given for a municipal election at the Lawrenceville City Hall, 70 South Clayton Street, Lawrenceville, Georgia, on Tuesday, November 7, 2006, to elect one Mayor and two members of the City Council. The poll will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The posts for this election are currently occupied by Councilmembers David Rodriguez and Dr. Judy Johnson, and Mayor Bobby Sikes. Any person who is presently registered as a voter in the City but who now resides outside the City limits is not eligible to vote in this election.

Those residents desiring to vote in the election who are not now registered as a qualified voter must register at any qualified voter registration location no later than the close of business on October 10, 2006.
