•LAWRENCEVILLE - A maintenance worker for Ricoh Industries at 1125 Hurricane Shoals Road was injured last week during a fight with a co-worker.
The 47-year-old victim was allegedly threatened by another worker in the boiler room shortly before that worker walked up and punched him simultaneously on both sides of the head on Aug. 1, according to a police report. The blow caused the victim to pass out. He awoke later on the floor.
The victim was treated for his injury through worker's compensation, but he has since experienced difficulty balancing, dizziness and short-term memory loss. The suspect was suspended from work, and his location was unknown at the time of the report.

A man dressed in a black shirt and a red or black baseball cap entered the bank at
8:50 a.m. and handed a teller a note written on a folded lottery ticket, according to a police report. The note said "give me all the money."
The clerk handed over cash from his drawer and the suspect fled, leaving the demand note on the counter. The suspect was described as a black man about 5 feet 9 inches tall. He may have driven away in a silver Nissan Altima, the police report stated.
•NORCROSS - A masked man robbed the Citgo gas station at 4125 Jimmy Carter Blvd. on Thursday.
The suspect walked into the store at 1:50 a.m. wearing a ski mask and a gray hooded sweatshirt, according to a police report. He pointed a handgun at the cashier, threw a brown plastic bag at her and said, "You have three seconds to put the money in the bag."
The cashier told police she dropped the bag and the suspect yelled at her to pick it up. She then opened the register and filled the bag with cash. The suspect then grabbed it and left the store on foot.
He was last seen walking toward the McDonald's restaurant located directly behind the gas station.
