Anderson - Bear

Mr. and Mrs. Stephan C. Anderson of Lilburn announce the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer Carol Anderson, to Jeremy Eric Bear, son of Mr. and Mrs. Martin I. Bear of Indian Trail, N.C.

The bride-elect is a 2002 graduate of Parkview High School and a 2005 graduate of Western Carolina University, where she received a bachelor's degree in communications with an emphasis in electronic media. She plans to pursue a career in radio production.

The future groom is a 2005 graduate of Western Carolina University, where he received a bachelor's degree in marketing. He is employed by Jeld-Wen.

The wedding is planned for July 1 at Mountain Park United Methodist Church in Stone Mountain.

Longbroke - Smith

Al and Elizabeth Longbroke of Lawrenceville announce the engagement of their daughter, Sara Elizabeth Longbroke, to Clayton Jeffrey Smith, son of Jeff and Donna Smith of Lawrenceville.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Charles Cowgill of Albany, Ind., and Hazel Longbroke of Huntsville, Ala. She is a graduate of Olivet Nazarene University, where she received a bachelor's degree in education.

The future groom is the grandson of Donald and Ruth Neighbors of LaGrange and Gailand Betty Smith of Manchester. He is a graduate of Gwinnett Technical College, where he received an associate's degree in auto services.

The wedding is planned for May 27 at Rolling Hills Baptist Church.

Watson - Lewis

Ray and Trudy Jobes of Lawrenceville announce the engagement of their daughter, Melissa Lynn Watson, to Greggory Stephen Lewis, son of Garry and Christi Lewis of Duluth.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Kenneth Jobes of Delaware. She is a graduate of Central Gwinnett High School and Empire Beauty School. She is employed at Dacula Academy of Preschool.

The future groom is the grandson of Rick and Gwynn Northington of Clarkston and Judy and Johnny Lewis of Lawrenceville. He is a graduate of Duluth High School and graduated from Gwinnett Technical College with a degree in architectural design. He is training for the National Guard at Fort Eustiss in Virginia.

The wedding is planned for Sept. 23.

Smith - Turner

Dean and Jeannie Turner of Baton Rouge, La., announce the engagement of their daughter, Rebekkah Grace Turner, to Gregory Shane Smith, son of Scott and Sue Smith of Hoschton.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Parker Jr. and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Turner, all of Baton Rouge, La. She graduated from high school in 2003 and is pursuing a degree in music education at Louisiana State University. She plans to graduate in December.

The future groom is the grandson of Lee A. Smith and the late Daisy M. Smith of White Plains and Winona Smith and the late Grady Smith of Loganville. He is a 2000 graduate of Dacula High School. He received his bachelor's degree in psychology with a minor in philosophy and religious studies from Piedmont College. He is the bass guitarist for worship leader Joel Engle and the editor of SPIN360, a worship resource magazine.

The wedding is planned for Aug. 13 in Baton Rouge, La.

Estes - Ligler

John and Debbie Estes of Snellville announce the engagement of their daughter, Diana Marie Estes, to Adam George Ligler, son of George and Frances Ligler of Potomac, Md.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Wheelis of Dacula and Alice Estes and the late William J. Estes of Columbia, S.C. She is a 2001 graduate of South Gwinnett High School and a 2005 magna cum laude graduate of Furman University, where she received a bachelor's degree in Spanish. She is employed as a high school Spanish teacher in Greenville, S.C.

The future groom is the grandson of Audrey Ligler and the late George Ligler of Alpharetta and the late Mr. and Mrs. George Smith of Louisville, Ky. He is a 2001 graduate of Winston-Churchill High School in Potomac, Md., and a 2005 cum laude graduate of Furman University with a degree in psychology and neuroscience. He is employed at the Naval Research Laboratory in Washington, D.C., and will be attending medical school this fall.

The wedding is planned for July 8 in Lilburn.
