Woman punched in fit of road rage
•BUFORD - A Buford woman was punched in the face by an angry driver Wednesday at Buford Drive and Mall of Georgia Boulevard. The victim approaching the intersection when another vehicle swerved into her lane, forcing her to turn to the left and accidentally cut off a 1995 Ford Taurus. When she stopped at the intersection the driver of the Taurus, a heavyset black woman with blue and green braids got out of the car to confront the victim, according to a police report. The woman yelled at the victim and struck her in the face while holding a soft drink can in her hand. The woman then got back into her car and drove away. Cleaners robbed at gunpoint•STONE MOUNTAIN - Two unidentified men on Tuesday robbed Wonderful Cleaners at 5295 Stone Mountain Highway. The Korean business owners told police they were doing laundry in the back of the store when two unidentified men entered the store through an open back door. The men pointed handguns at the owners and took cash from the register, according to a police report. The robbers also took a female employee's purse. Police officers encountered a language barrier and had difficulty getting descriptions of the suspects, the police report stated. The officers were able to discover that both robbers reportedly wore all black clothing and gloves, and one also wore a mask. They fled in a passenger car. - From staff reportsMore like this story
