Atwell Wooldridge, age 87, of Alpharetta, Georgia, formerly of Houston, Mississippi, died Monday, April 24 in Alpharetta, Georgia. He was born February 25, 1919 in Thorn, MS to George Lafayette Wooldridge and Mary Jessie Moore Wooldridge, who preceded him in death. He was a WWII veteran. Services will be at 11:00 AM Thursday, April 27, 2006 at Houston Funeral Home with the Rev. Walter Goldsmith officiating. Burial will follow at Elzey Cemetery near Vardaman, MS. Survivors include his wife, Maudie Dee Melton Wooldridge of Alpharetta, GA; two daughters, Sara Louise Rhodes of Munford, TN, Elizabeth Ann Payne of Dacula, GA; one son, Raymond Atwell Wooldridge of Atlanta, GA and New Orleans, LA; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Ophie Mae Disharoon Dodd, age 91, of Buford, died Wednesday, April 26,2006. A Funeral Service will be held at 2 P.M. Mrs. Dodd was preceded in death by her husband, Jarius J. Dodd and her daughter, Elise Mae Day. Lola Mae Wages Campbell, age 92, born November 1, 1913 in the Harbins Community, GA, died April 25, 2006 in Shell Point, FL. She was preceded in death by her parents, Judge Emory Wages and Lottie Wages, and husband, Bowen Cooper Campbell. She is survived by: Sons: Jody Campbell and wife, Gail, of Shell Point, FL, Terry Campbell of New Smyrna Beach, FL; Sister: Sue Harris of Jacksonville, FL; 3 Grandchildren; 2 Great Grandchildren; Several Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces & Nephews. She loved fishing, gardening and a good joke and could not wait for Halloween to put in her funny fake teeth. She lived in Chamblee, GA until 2002 when she moved to Shell Point, FL. She was a member of Chamblee Methodist Church. We will miss her. Graveside services will be held Friday, April 28, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at Floral Hills Memory Gardens. John Richard Kampf, age 97 of Snellville, GA died April 25, 2006. He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Carson Kampf and is survived by his step son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Barbara Davis of Lilburn; half brother, Ray Moser of Freehold, NJ; grandchildren, Debra Ann Davis, Denise D. Mr. Kampf retired from Diamond Construction Company as an Accountant/Buyer for several years. He was a WW II Army Veteran and was very active in golf at Summit Chase where he once shot a 77 score, when he was 77. Sarah E. Miller, age 86 of Snellville, GA died April 25, 2006. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Harold Blaine Miller; daughters and son-in-law, Patricia Miller of Independence, MO, Elaine and Robert Mayer of Lawrenceville; grandchildren, Jennifer Mayer, Brooke and husband, Brad Hellwig, Lindsey Mayer, Max Mayer; great grandson, Max Hellwig. Mrs. Miller was a Professor of Nursing at GA Baptist Hospital School of Nursing, for 29 years. She was a 22 year volunteer at Emory Eastside and lifetime member of Gwinnett Medical Center Auxiliary Services. She was a US Army Nurse Veteran and member of Westside Baptist Church. Memorial services will be held Thursday, April 27 at 11am at Westside Baptist Church with Rev. Ben Lehmann officiating.
