GREENVILLE, S.C. - The Greenville Grrrowl were able to prolong their postseason lives a little longer on Friday. Not so Saturday.
No. 2 seeded Florida closed out the best-of-five division semifinal series on its second opportunity, beating Greenville 9-4 in Game 4 at the Bi-Lo Center. The Everblades won the series three games to one, scoring seven goals on the power play Saturday. Florida advances to the division finals where it will meet the top-seeded Gwinnett Gladiators. The best-of-five series starts on Wednesday at the Arena at Gwinnett Center. Game 2 is Friday in Duluth with Games 3 and 4 in Florida on Saturday and May 1. Game 5, if necessary, would be in Gwinnett on May 3.More like this story
