Moore - Benton

Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Moore of Snellville and Barbara Moore of Lilburn announce the engagement of their daughter, Kristin Lynn Moore, to Stephen Roy Benton, son of Steve and Nancy Benton of Orlando, Fla.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bob Jones of Monroe. She is a 1999 graduate of Parkview High School and attended Athens Technical College. She is a dental assistant in Monroe.

The future groom is the grandson of Mary Benton and the late Roy Benton and the late Mr. and Mrs. Richard Brooks, all of Charlotte, N.C. He attended Gardner Webb University and is employed in outside sales at Hughes Supply in Athens.

The wedding is planned for July 29 at First Presbyterian Church in Athens.

Johnson - Corley

Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Johnson of Jefferson announce the engagement of their daughter, Stephanie Cheree Johnson, to Cameron Lee Corley, son of Mr. and Mrs. Steven Corley of Lawrenceville.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Autry Johnson of Jefferson and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Sasser of Vidalia. She is a 1997 graduate of Brookwood High School and received a bachelor's degree in 2001 from Valdosta State University. She is employed as a teacher at Ivy Creek Elementary School.

The future groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Farish Hughes of Lawrenceville and the late Dolphus Corley and Ann Corley of Lilburn. He is a 1997 graduate of Central Gwinnett High School. He received his bachelor's degree in 2001 and his master's degree in 2004 from the University of Georgia. He is employed as a teacher at Duncan Creek Elementary School.

The wedding is planned for June 3 at Briarwood Baptist Church in Watkinsville.

Barfield - Pass

Mr. and Mrs. Ed Barfield Jr. of Monroe announce the engagement of their daughter, April Michelle Barfield, to Dustin Michael Pass, son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Pass of Buford.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the Rev. and Mrs. Kenneth Cofer of Norcross and Mr. and Mrs. William E. Barfield Sr. of Loganville. She graduated from Forrest Hills Christian School in Stone Mountain and received her master's degree in elementary education from the University of Georgia. She is employed as a second-grade teacher at Hebron Christian Academy in Dacula.

The future groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Bothwell Pass of Buford and Geraldine Moss of Duluth. He graduated from Old Suwanee Christian School in Buford and is pursuing a business management degree at the University of Phoenix (Atlanta). He is employed at AGCO Corporation.

The wedding is set for June 10 at Cornith Baptist Church in Loganville.

Johnson - Overley

Phillip and Lisa Johnson of Lawrenceville announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashley Meredith Johnson, to Matthew Robert Overley, son of Marshall and Terry Overley of West Lafayette, Ind.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Carl and Anna Ruth Heard, Louise Johnson and the late Overton Johnson, all of Dunlap, Tenn. She is a 2000 graduate of Collins Hill High School and a 2005 graduate of the University of Georgia, where she majored in biology and Spanish. Beginning in the fall, she will become a full-time student at the Indiana School of Medicine.

The future groom is the grandson of Joyce Overley of West Lafayette, Ind., and Wilma Gluesenkamp of Indianapolis. He is a 2000 graduate of West Lafayette High School and received his bachelor's degree in biology from the University of Southern Indiana. He is a second-year medical student at Indiana University.

The wedding is planned for June 4 at Lawrenceville First United Methodist Church.

Monson - Massie

Carol Monson and Leigh Monson of Buford announce the engagement of their daughter, Lindsey Elizabeth Monson, to Lee Charles Massie, son of John and Rosalee Massie of Mattawana, Penn.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Buford High School and is a junior at North Georgia College and State University.

The future groom is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University and is employed as a computer engineer at General Dynamics in Fairfax, Va.

The wedding is planned for June 18 at the Massies' residence.
