Louise H. Roebuck Patton, age 81 of Auburn, died Sunday, April 9, 2006 after a lengthy battle with Melanoma. Louise was born to Mr. & Mrs. Duck Hutchins in Lawrenceville and was raised there. She graduated from Lawrenceville High School in 1943. For the past 30 years, she has lived in Auburn with her husband of 40 years, Mr. George Patton. The last 20 years she worked in various nursing homes before retiring. She was a member of Union Grove Baptist Church and loved her church family. She also loved to play bingo and had many friends that she met there. Louise was preceded in death by her only son, James (Buck) Roebuck and 2 granddaughters, Natasha Roebuck and Sandra White. She is survived by her husband, George W. Patton; two daughters and a son-in-law, Joyce & Billy White, Lawrenceville & Shirley Coggins, Dacula; 6 Grandchildren, Shannon White, Lawrenceville, Christina & Terry Klusmeyer, Las Vegas, NV, Karen & David Woodrome, Scottie Coggins, Michael & Kara Lee Coggins & Tina Lewis, all of Dacula; 13 Great Grandchildren. The Family would like to give special thanks to her surgeon, Dr. David Schmidt. They would also like to thank all the nurses and staff at Embracing Hospice Care in Snellville for the care & concern given to Louise during her illness. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, April 11, 2006 in the Lawrenceville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home. Rev. Alan Hall & Rev. Phil Robertson will officiate.
