HOSCHTON - Cody Clickner pitched five strong innings, allowing only one hit to lead Mill Creek past Lakeview-Ft. Oglethorpe 8-3 on Friday.
Matt McNeese was 3-for-3 with a triple and a double while Denver Stovall was also 3-for-3 with two doubles. Kirklan Moore also had a sold day, going 2-for-3 with a home run and a double for the Hawks. BASEBALL Norcross 4, Shiloh 1 NORCROSS - Curtis Robinson was 3-for-3 with a triple and a RBI as he led Norcross past Shiloh 4-1 on Friday. Josh Camp was the winning pitcher for the Blue Devils (10-3), allowing four hits and one run in five innings of work. Camp improved his season record to 2-0. Brookwood 8, South Forsyth 4 SNELLVILLE - Elliott Coor improved his record to 3-0 as Brookwood defeated South Forsyth 8-4 on Friday. Troy Snitker was 2-for-3 with four RBIs and Tristan Toorie was 1-for-2 to lead the Broncos (7-5) from the plate. Killian Hill 15, Community Christian 0 LILBURN - Aaron Parks allowed only one hit to lead Killian Hill past Community Christian 15-0 in four innings on Friday. Jared Lewis was 3-for-3 with three RBIs and Steven Sokohl went 3-for-4 with three RBIs, while Ryan Eagleson was 2-for-3 with four RBIs. Andrew Harvard was also 2-for-3 for Killian Hill. BOYS SOCCER Brookwood 2, Meadowcreek 0 NORCROSS - Brookwood remained undefeated in Region 8-AAAAA with a 2-0 shutout over Meadowcreek (6-4-2, 1-4) on Friday. Junior Andrew Adams had four saves in goal, and recorded his eighth shutout of the year, to lead Brookwood (9-3-1, 4-0) while Sean Johnson had one goal and one assist. The Broncos also received stellar defensive outings from Nathan McKeever and Wes Manyak. Buford 3, Wesleyan 1 BUFORD - Misael Martinez and Abel Martinez accounted for all the Wolves' goals as Buford topped Wesleyan 3-1 in a Region 8-AA matchup on Friday. Misael Martinez had two goals while Abel Martinez added one goal for the Wolves. GIRLS SOCCER Brookwood 13, Meadowcreek 0 NORCROSS - The No. 6 Broncos remained undefeated on the season as they defeated Meadowcreek 13-0 in Region 8-AAAAA action on Friday. Brookwood had 12 different players score on the night and were led by Jacki Brown who had two goals. Wesleyan 2, Buford 0 BUFORD - Darsey Gilbreath had 12 saves in goal for Buford (8-6, 1-3), but that was not enough as the Wolves fell to Region 8-AA rival Wesleyan 2-0 on Friday. BOYS GOLF Bennett, Reeves lead Peachtree Ridge DULUTH - Kevin Bennett and Seth Reeves both shot a 40 to lead Peachtree Ridge as the Lions slipped past Norcross 163-164 on Thursday. Eric Quinn shot a 40 to lead Norcross. SOFTBALL Killian Hill 24, Old Suwanee 3 SUWANEE - Allison Trine had four hits and six RBIs as Killian Hill blasted Old Suwanee 24-3 on Friday. Kimmy Graff had three hits and Ashley Petersen had two hits for Killian Hill.
