Man exposes himself to woman in parking lot

DULUTH - An unidentified man exposed himself to a woman Tuesday in the parking lot of Kohl's at 2050 West Liddell Road.

A man in a black Volkswagen Jetta drove up next to the woman about 4:30 p.m., according to police reports. He said "Come on, baby, I'm ready for you. Let's have a good time. I'll pay you," police reports stated.

The man then elevated himself in the seat so the woman could see him fondling himself. The woman did not respond and the suspect drove away.

Woman victim of an attempted home invasion

DULUTH - A Duluth woman was the victim of an attempted home invasion Saturday at Palisades Club apartments at 2255 Satellite Blvd.

The 25-year-old woman was walking through the parking lot about 3 a.m. when she noticed a black man walking slowly up the stairs to the second level where her apartment is located. He slowed down as she stopped to open her front door. Once it was open, the man rushed her and forced his way inside yelling "shut up," police reports stated.

The woman fled into a bathroom, locked the door behind her and called her fiance on a cell phone. The suspect beat on the door, but he was unable to get inside. He fled before authorities could arrive.

The suspect is described as a black man in his mid-20s with an average build, about 6 feet fall and 200 pounds.

Kidnapping attempt thwarted

NORCROSS - A manager of a QuikTrip at 1515 Beaver Ruin Road was robbed Tuesday and escaped being kidnapped.

The woman was walking to her car at 8:45 p.m. when a black man approached her with a handgun and jammed it into her stomach, according to police reports. He ordered her to throw her money on the ground and then told her get in the car because they were "going to take a ride," according to police reports.

The woman refused and started walking away. The suspect then fled on foot. He is described as a black male with braided hair, about 5 feet 6 inches tall and 130 pounds. The man was wearing baggy blue jeans and a brown pullover shirt, police reports stated.
