Woman accuses man of repeatedly knocking on door

DULUTH - A Norcross man was arrested on Monday in connection with harassing a woman at Gwinnett Crossings apartments by repeatedly knocking on her door.

The woman told police the suspect had been knocking on her door for half an hour. When she came to the door, he would hide and she wouldn't open it because she could not see anyone there, according to police reports.

The suspect had been doing this for the past three nights in the evenings. The woman claimed she didn't know the man, later identified as 29-year-old Ambrocio Resendiz-Pacheco.

Resendiz-Pacheco reportedly smelled of alcohol. He claimed the woman was his girlfriend, but he didn't know her name when an officer pressed him for details. Pacheco was charged with disorderly conduct.
