Ernest (E.B.) Edwards, 82, of Lawrenceville, died Tuesday, September 13, 2005. The funeral will be at 11 A.M. Thursday, September 15, 2005 at Bill Head Funeral Home, Lilburn/Tucker Chapel, with Rev. David Poe officiating. Burial will be in Peachtree Memorial Park, Norcross. A native of Bessemer, Alabama, Mr. Edwards was retired as a machinist with General Electric after 35 years of service. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII and was a member of Sunrise Baptist Church, Lawrenceville. Survivors include: wife: Carolyn Edwards of Lawrenceville; sons and daughter-in-law: Steven D. & Peggy Edwards of Lawrenceville, Gary B. Edwards of Clemson, SC, and David Edwards of Dacula; grandchildren: Mrs. Kelley Searcy, Blake Edwards, Mrs. Tiffany Lonsberry, and Daniel Edwards. Those desiring may make contributions to the Alzheimer's Association, 1925 Century Blvd. NE, Suite 10, Atlanta, GA 30345-3315 in memory of Mr. Edwards. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 2-4 P.M. and 6-8 P.M. at Bill Head Funeral Homes and Crematory, Lilburn/Tucker Chapel, 770-564-2726.
