Woman says she was beaten with pipe

NORCROSS - A Norcross woman was beaten with a metal pipe by her boyfriend Sunday at their home in The Reserve Apartments at 6005 Hunt Club Run, according to police reports.

Police met with the woman at Atlanta Medical Center, where she was being treated for injuries. The victim, a 22-year-old woman, told police that her boyfriend beat her with a metal pipe, then punched and kicked her, according to police reports.

She was able to get away and run to a friend's house. The friend drove the victim to the hospital, according to police reports. The victim refused to speak with a police investigator, and no charges were filed.

Norcross woman carjacked in driveway

NORCROSS - A Norcross woman was carjacked Saturday while cleaning her vehicle in the driveway of her home on Green Hill Lane, police reports said.

A black Chevrolet passenger car occupied by four unidentified Hispanic men drove up in the driveway about noon, according to police reports. Two men armed with a gun and a knife got out of the car and approached the victim. One of the suspects asked for her keys.

When the woman refused, he slapped her in the face and pushed her out of the way. The two suspects got into the woman's car and drove away followed by the black Chevrolet.

A description of the stolen car was not listed on the police report.
