Larkins - Ritz

Laura Helene Larkins and Daniel David Ritz were married on April 23 at The Cathedral of St. Philip in Atlanta. The Rev. Todd Smelser officiated the ceremony. The brides' parents hosted a reception following the ceremony at The Biltmore in Midtown Atlanta.

Laura is the daughter of Larry and Joyce Larkins of Duluth. Her bridal attendants included Lori Woods as matron of honor, Melanie Uetsuki and Shannon Baker as bridesmaids, and Emilie Aversa as flower girl.

Daniel is the son of the late Daniel W. Ritz. Daniel's mother, Carol Ritz, resides in Canton, N.Y. His groomsmen included John Dalton as the best man, Patrick Aversa and Tom Leach as groomsmen, and nephew Austin Ritz as ring bearer.

The couple honeymooned in Anguilla with a second honeymoon in Italy this fall. Daniel and Laura reside in their newly completed home in Duluth.

Elgie - Newman

Lacey Robinson Elgie and Dr. Clint Edwin Newman were married Oct. 22 at West End Methodist Church in Nashville, Tenn. The Rev. Thomas Laney Jr. officiated the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Malcolm R. Carson and the late Dale Everett Elgie of Snellville. The groom is the son of Jana Sanders of Lafayette, Ind. and Reece Newman of Chicago.

Lisa Ward of Bethlehem served as the bride's matron of honor.

Bridesmaids were Natalie Shelor, sister of the groom, Megan Cropley, Nancye Murphy, Kellie Palmer, Lauren Syrios and Melissa Windham. Emma Markette, sister of the bride, served as junior bridesmaid.

Brother of the groom Kirk Newman served as the groom's best man.

Groomsmen were Lucas Elgie, brother of the bride, Reece Newman, father of the groom and Jerome Brown, Thad Corbin, Brandon Guy, Dan Hellie, Jason Farmer, Ryan Jacobs, Darren Mathey and Drew Shelor.

A reception was held at the Union Station, a historic railroad station restored in 1986. After a honeymoon trip to Las Ventanas resort in Los Cabos, Mexico the couple will reside in Nashville, Tenn.

Sterling - Glenn

Anika Rashawn Sterling and Matthew Anthony Glenn, both of Mabelton, were married on June 17 at Piedmont Park Conservatory ClaraMeer Dock. Mr. Peter Sterling, the bride's uncle, officiated the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Huntley and Fredria Sterling of Lawrenceville. She is a 1994 graduate of Central Gwinnett High School and a 1999 graduate of the University of Georgia, where she received a bachelor's degree in speech communications. She attended Delta's Flight Attendant Academy immediately after graduation from UGA and worked for Delta Airlines until she joined Atlantic Southeast Airlines as a flight attendant instructor.

The groom is the son of Leonard and Althea Glenn of Baltimore. He is a 1991 graduate of Severna Park High School in Severna Park, Md. and a 1998 graduate of Morgan State University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. He is employed with BellSouth as a systems analyst.

Shana Word of Atlanta served as the bride's maid of honor.

Bridesmaids were Chantay Sterling-Leverrett of Sarasota, Fla., Jan Sullivan of Oklahoma City, Shondra Cleveland of Decatur, Ayanna Sterling-Jones of Birmingham, Ala. and Adamis Sterling of Lawrenceville.

Jonathan Glenn of Mabelton served as the groom's best man.

Groomsmen were Micheal Sterling of Amityville, Long Island, N.Y., Greg Moore of Severna Park, Md., Vernon Oden of Severna Park, Md., Chris Taylor of Severna Park, Md. and Anthony Baldwin of Bridgeport, Conn.

After a honeymoon trip to Paradise Island, Bahamas the couple now resides in East Point.
