Health Fair to have flu shots•LAWRENCEVILLE - Flu season is just around the corner, but at Courtyard Gardens Assisted Living Home located at 1000 River Centre Place you can receive a flu shot during your lunch break from 10 a.m. to noon at the Nov. 1 Health Fair. You may also donate blood at the Red Cross Blood Drive to assist people affected by Hurricane Katrina from noon until 5 p.m. on site. Visitors are also encouraged to bring in a canned food item, blankets and gently used clothing. state Walk & Run to benefit brain tumor research•ALPHARETTA - Stay in shape and raise money for brain tumor research by attending the Brain Tumor Foundation for Children's 7th annual William's Walk & Run Nov. 5 at 7730 North Point Parkway. This fundraising event was started in 1999 in memory of William Nichols, who lost his battle with a brain tumor at age 1.
